Ross Parsley Lead Pastor
Ross is married to the love of his life, Aimee, and he is crazy about his five kids, Zachary, Taylor, Grace, Ethan and Owen. He and his family moved to Austin, Texas in 2010 to plant a life-giving church called ONEchapel, and it’s been nothing short of an adventure in God’s grace.
Ross and Aimee met at Oral Roberts University where they graduated with degrees in Organizational/Interpersonal Communications and Psychology, respectively. They had the privilege of living in Colorado Springs for over 18 years leading worship at New Life Church, where as the Worship Pastors, they worked with some really incredible people who they continue to have the honor of calling their friends.
Over the years, Ross assembled a team of influential worship leaders and songwriters who are all now successful in their own ministries (Jared Anderson, Glenn Packiam, Jon Egan and the Desperation Band), and many of their songs have become worship favorites in churches around the world. Ross' philosophy of multigenerational worship has helped shape many worship ministries and churches, and he enjoys speaking at seminars and conferences to help local churches be all God wants them to be.
Ross’ latest book is called “Messy Church: A Multigenerational Mission for the Family of God,” encouraging a family paradigm for churches tired of consumer driven and corporate ministry models. He has led worship on several Integrity Music recordings including "I Am Free," the award-winning, best-selling release "My Savior Lives," and "Counting on God." One of his passions has been training and equipping young men and women to lead worship in local churches, which is why he founded the New Life School of Worship in 2002 and most recently, ONEchapel College in Austin, TX.
He became the Interim Senior Pastor at New Life Church in 2006 where he provided leadership, spiritual direction and healing in the wake of a moral failure by their Senior Pastor. He continued to help guide New Life Church through their transition under their new pastor, Brady Boyd, right up to the day that they blessed him and sent him out in 2010 to plant a new family of believers—ONEchapel.
