90 Day Challenge – Week 10: Jesus Arrives

One Chapel family,

As we move into Week 10, everything changes. After generations of promise, warning, exile, and waiting — the silence breaks.

This Week’s Reading

Ezekiel 47 – Matthew 15

God does not send another prophet. He comes Himself.

Jesus enters the story quietly — born into poverty, obscurity, and tension — yet His arrival marks the turning point of all history. The hope Israel has carried for centuries now takes on flesh and walks among the people.

A Cultural Insight

Many were waiting for a Messiah, but expectations were mixed. Some longed for political freedom. Others hoped for moral reform or national restoration.

Jesus fulfills the promises — but not in the way most expected. He does not arrive with force or dominance. He comes near. He heals, teaches, eats with outsiders, and announces a Kingdom built not on power, but on grace.

This unexpected arrival explains both the crowds who followed Him and the resistance He faced.

As You Read

Notice who Jesus moves toward. Watch how He treats the overlooked, the broken, and the spiritually weary.

Jesus doesn’t erase the past story — He completes it. Every promise, every longing, every moment of waiting begins to find its meaning in Him.

God is no longer speaking only through words and prophets.

He is walking among His people.

A Simple Invitation

As you read this week, pay attention to what surprises you about Jesus. What challenges your assumptions? What draws you in?

If something stands out, consider sharing it with your group or posting a reflection online. Sometimes seeing Jesus through someone else’s eyes helps us encounter Him more fully ourselves.

Grateful to be witnessing the turning point together,
